The Great Aussie Scone Bake at Maldon 2019

The Maldon Easter Fair kicked off with the 2019 Great Aussie Scone Bake held at Main Street Maldon.

A few dozen people attended during the night which also featured the pie eating competition.

The winners this year were:

Best Commercial Scone – Berryman’s Tearooms (Katrine)
Best Private Scone – Miranda Purcell & Cassie Mills
Best Junior Scone – Meghan & Florence

It’s almost Easter for the year 2019 and the Maldon Easter Fair will begin on Thursday evening with the Great Aussie Scone Bake.

The wonderful Victorian Goldfields Railway will be operating extra services during the School Holidays.

School Holiday Specials!

From 6th April until the 21st of April, the Victorian Goldfields Railway will be running steam hauled services every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Take advantage of the savings available with special family tickets.

The team at the railway will help to keep the kids entertained throughout their journey with puzzles, games, clowns, balloons and face-painting.
